TechnipFMC has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Equinor for an integrated Front End Engieering and Design (FEED) study for BM-C-33 offshore Brazil. The study will support the definition of the technical solution for the gas and condensate proposed development in Equinor´s final investment decision (FID). The FEED study includes the option of a direct execution award to TechnipFMC for the integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) of the project.The BM-C-33 block was discovered by Repsol Sinopec in 2010 in the Brazilian Pre-salt and Equinor took over the operatorship in 2016. The field is located about 200 kilometers offshore Rio de Janeiro in water depths of up to 2.900 meters. Equinor operates the field with 35% interest, with Repsol (35%) and Petrobras (30%) as partners.
