Registration phase for the Felinto Perry vessel auction concluded

João Emilio Leiloeiro and Emgepron have concluded the registration phase for the auction in single lot for the rescue vessel Felinto Perry from the Brazilian Navy. The 77.8m long vessel, that according to legend has been employed as a treasure finding ship by its early life from delivery in Scandinavia, has raised interest for 5 registered bidders namely Agiliza, ASM, Oceanica, Superpesa and Zemaxlog (in alphabetical order) as witnessed by our head of sales and purchase formally during the pre-listing phase. The publication should follow until July 29th 2022. The rescue vessel has been named after Captain Felinto Perry (1844-1892) who has participated in the Paraguay War. The Battle of the Riachuelo in 1865 on the Paraná River was a turning point in favour of the Brazilian Navy. The Battle has been the largest strike in history between two South American countries. Hoping for a successful auction and a possible deployment of the vessel that could remain in our waters and carrying its honored name, who knows… time will tell.
