PSV Vega Challenger starts charter period with Perenco

PSV Vega Challenger of owners Tranship has recently started a 2 months firm charter with oil company Perenco. The contract contemplates options to extend the charter for up to 7 months. Since the vessel was acquired from CBO by Tranship, she has been engaged in various types of activities mainly on the spot market. Under this charter, she will be performing cargo runs from Porto do Açu to Carapeba, Pargo and Vermelho fields located in the shallow waters of Campos Basin and operated by Perenco. Challenger’s sister ship, namely Vega Chaser, which was also acquired by Bravante from CBO, has recently concluded its term charter with Perenco and is now been mobilized to the Petrobras OSRV contract, which was awarded in 2021.
