FPSO Anna Nery starts to make its way to Brazil

Petrobras announced on Monday (11) that its brand new FPSO Anna Nery has departed Cosco Shipyard in Qigong, China. The production unit will still go through a 15-day trial period at sea before resuming navigation to Brazil. WSB has identified and confirmed that the unit is being towed by two ALP oceantugs, ALP Seeker and ALP Striker. The towage is expected to be concluded in ca. 03 months, with two port calls scheduled for Singapore and Mauritius Island. The ETA in Brazil is first week of October, when she will then engage in final approval tests and commissioning for Petrobras. FPSO Anna Nery will be deployed in the revitalization of Marlim field, where she will later be joined by FPSO Anita Garibaldi, awarded to MODEC.
