SDSV Petrobras tender closed this week

Long six months after tender issued to market, Petrobras received Tuesday this week the proposals for the Shallow Diving Support Vessel (SDSV) bid. Bidders had the option to offer in 4 different lots based on vessel category: 2x hydrojet, “father&son” and TUP (transfer under pressure). For hydrojet lot A, a total of 3 vessels were offered having Sistac placed first with a final day rate of USD 87.150,00 followed by two offers from Oceanica. “Father&son” lot B which historically had been the most disputed with multiple contenders provided medium sized PSVs can be converted to attend these requirements, failed to attract as many. Petrobras artificially increased the minimum requirements with unresolved outstanding DP parameters and ROV services which demanded, combined with diving services, an unusual vessel POB capacity. Not surprisingly 3 candidates were offered with Chouest first placed with a final day rate of USD 61.550,30 followed by Oceanica and Sistac. Lot C TUP had Oceanica alone as bidder with a rate of USD 128.750,00. Hydrojet lot D mob August 2023 featured 6 vessels ending with Oceanica first with USD 87.220,00 followed by Sistac and Belov.
